As a Project Manager: in Technical Producer for the festival center, you will be the driving force behind the production and coordination of inspiring events in the heart of the Berlin Science Week.
Requirements
- Completed studies or equivalent knowledge and skills through professional experience (event/ media technology, architecture, building/design, production)
- At least 2-3 years of experience in technical event production, preferably in the festival sector, including coordination of technical trades
- Safe handling of AV systems, lighting/sound technology, rigging, and networks
- Understanding of room concept, architecture, and user-centered design
- Strong project and interface management
- Familiarity with the administration of production budgets and resource planning
- Problem-solving competence and resilience
- High level of commitment, reliability, and organizational strength
- Proactive co-design of processes and enjoyment of participatory working methods
- Communication strength and team coordination
- Experience in collaboration with program contributors from art and science as well as production of creative and artistic formats
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and in writing - in German and English
- Safe handling of tools like Excel, Asana, Slack, OneDrive, and similar platforms
- Experience in handling common room planning software
