ExxonMobil Global Trading is looking for an experienced Feedstocks / Fuel Oil Trader to join their dynamic and rapidly growing global Heavy Distillates team.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in physical/paper energy trading
- Physical and/or derivatives trading experience in petroleum products
- Experience with US fuel oil and/or feedstock markets (HSFO / CBO / VLSFO / HSSR / LSSR / VGO) highly preferred
- Solid understanding of commodity markets, trade flows, supply/demand fundamentals, arbitrage economics, etc.
- Proven ability to develop and execute profitable physical / paper trading strategies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills; ability to build collaborative relationships and work on a large global team spanning multiple time zones
- Deep understanding of commodity risk management, hedging, VAR and exposure management
- Deep knowledge of Jones Act and foreign flag freight, blending, and storage logistics
