Job Description
The Junior Accountant is responsible for entering invoices into the accounting system, transmitting daily deposits to the bank, and preparing journal entries for review by the accounting staff. This individual is also responsible for responding to inquiries regarding vendor payments and monitoring compliance with lender/investor reporting as well as overall company procedures.
Requirements
- Associate degree in accounting or related field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of one (1) year related experience
- Effective interpersonal/client service, verbal and written communication, organizational and time-management skills with a high attentiveness to detail
- Ability to take initiative, adapt, prioritize, and multi-task when faced with competing demands
- MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) experience
