Job Description
Exponent is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Computer Scientist for their Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Practice in New York, NY. The role involves developing software, data, and engineering solutions for clients ranging from early-stage startups to fortune 100 companies. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Physics or a related field and experience with finite element analysis, numerical analysis, modeling, and/or simulation of devices, systems, and/or networks.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Physics or a related field
- Experience with finite element analysis, numerical analysis, modeling, and/or simulation of devices, systems, and/or networks
- Experience with at least one common programming language such as Python, C/C++, Java, MATLAB, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and ability to work independently or in multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to gather information and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and related industry
- Desire to learn, and work with, a wide array of different programming languages, software frameworks, and tools
- Ability to support multiple group projects and market the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Practice and its consulting services
