Import & Export Logistics Coordinator

The Import & Export Logistics Coordinator is responsible for end-to-end operational support of international shipments, including shipment creation, documentation management, carrier coordination, and exception handling.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of proven experience managing end-to-end import and export operations
• Strong working knowledge of air and/or ocean freight operations
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing, reviewing, and validating shipping documents
• Experienced in coordinating directly with carriers, agents, and overseas partners
• Confident in independently identifying issues, resolving exceptions, and escalating when necessary
• Advanced understanding of Incoterms, routing, cut-off times, consolidations, and carrier schedules
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong track record of data accuracy in TMS or similar logistics systems
• Able to manage multiple active shipments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
