We are looking for a Senior Engineer within our Quebec Transportation team to design bridges and art structures. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in bridge design and will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in the realization of a project.
Requirements
- Act as a reference in design and technically guide/assist team members (modelling, analysis methods, tool development, etc.);
- Share knowledge and experience with team members;
- Participate in internal technical committee workshops;
- Perform calculations, structural analysis, and dimensioning of bridge and art structure structures according to applicable standards, codes, and regulations;
- Prepare and verify plans and drawings for design and renovation projects of bridges and art structures;
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the realization of a project;
- Provide assistance to the designer during the construction phase;
- Perform basic and/or complex engineering studies for construction and renovation work on steel and concrete structures;
- Solve complex technical problems in design;
- Support specialized resources in preparing service offers;
- Establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with team members, clients, partners, and main suppliers.
