Job Description
Excelitas is a global technology leader seeking a Metrology Engineer to join its team in Göttingen, DE. The successful candidate will develop complex measurement and test setups, conduct experiments, and analyze data.
Requirements
- Master's degree in photonics, optical engineering, optical system or laser technology, physics or similar
- Solid knowledge about technical optics and optical device development
- Experience in measurement and qualification technology, preferably in connection to manufacturing/assembly of optical systems & fiber assemblies
- Experience in evaluation, representation & analysis of experimental data
- Advanced skills in Python scripting for data analysis
