CDL Driver

Ewing Outdoor Supply seeks a dedicated CDL Class A Driver to make deliveries to customers and transport materials between locations. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and ability to operate various equipment and vehicles.

Requirements

• Transport materials to and from retail or distribution centers
• Customer job site and warehouse delivery
• Assist in yard operations, including loading, unloading, and moving product
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Comply with CDL rules and regulations and company policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to fulfill orders and resolve issues
• Report defects, accidents, or violations
• Proven work experience as a CDL Driver
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc)
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
• Valid CDL license
• Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience with flat beds and dump trucks
• At least a CDL A is required
• Moffit & forklift experience is a plus
