Instrument/Electrical (I/E) technician position in which the incumbent will perform basic and mid-level I/E craft tasks while receiving formal training and mentoring within the I/E organization.
Requirements
- Understand and apply Industrial Safety requirements for the Instrument and Electrical crafts.
- Use common tools of the Instrument/Electrical crafts and electrical/electronic test equipment.
- Work on Instrumentation Calibration, Pneumatic Control Valves, and Process Control Loops.
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment, instrumentation, and analytical equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical codes, manuals, procedures, schematic diagrams, and blueprints.
- Properly document all repair activities and actively seek continuous improvement opportunities.
- Continuously acquire basic knowledge of processes involved in the production units.
- Promote safe and effective work, document work in SAP CMMS, and train and mentor others on precision maintenance principles.
