Job Description
EVgo is seeking a Senior Test & Validation Engineer to lead testing efforts for a new in-world charging product. This role involves developing, executing, and overseeing verification and validation methods, ensuring product performance and reliability across various components and test environments. The Engineer will also be responsible for managing test assets, data collection, and coordinating interactions with development teams, suppliers, and vendors.
Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in a hardware test and development team
- Expertise in environmental test setup, execution, and error-proofing.
- Proficiency with instrumentation such as thermocouples, RTDs, strain gauges, accelerometers, pressure gauges, and flow meters.
- Experience designing test plans and managing external test laboratories
