Grid Integration Engineer I - West Coast

EVgo is seeking a Grid Integration Engineer to support EV charger deployment nationwide. The engineer will guide projects through design and utility construction phases, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance.

Requirements

• Drive feasibility and constructability reviews during early-stage project design
• Provide engineering guidance on behind-the-meter and through-the-meter designs
• Communicate timely recommendations and solutions on design-related challenges
• Manage and document project activities within EVgo's CRM platform
• Review, interpret, and apply local, utility, and regulatory standards to ensure compliance
• Collaborate with EVgo's Market Development team to support make-ready project pipelines
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with utilities
• Partner with the Project Engineering team to analyze and communicate cost implications of interconnection methods
• Develop and implement streamlined processes to support efficient project execution
• Analyze large datasets and deliver clear, actionable insights to guide execution strategies
