Job Description
Everlane is seeking a Director of Design to lead a team focused on women's apparel and accessories. This role involves product ideation, prototyping, strategy development, and team leadership, with a focus on timelessness, sustainability, and ethical manufacturing. The Director will work closely with various departments to develop commercially successful products and maintain a strong design process.
Requirements
- 10+ years experience designing women’s Sweaters, Knits, and Woven Apparel
- 4+ years experience managing and mentoring teams
- 2-4+ years experience with private label accessories
- Proven track record of building and developing knit and sweater and woven businesses
- Deep technical knowledge of knitted fabric, sweaters yarns and woven fabrics
- High competency with fittings
- Strong P.O.V on relevant trend
