Satellite Control Operation Engineer

Eutelsat Group is seeking a Satellite Control Operation Engineer to provide engineering support for satellite operations, ensuring the safety and continuity of service. This role involves performing operational activities, validating tests, preparing launch and on-orbit procedures, and providing support for spacecraft subsystems and launches. The position requires strong collaboration with multiple teams and adherence to safety and operational standards.

Requirements

• University degree in space engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience of in-orbit satellite control
• Detailed design and operations knowledge of one or more of the satellite platforms operated by EUTELSAT
• Knowledge of celestial mechanics
• Knowledge of satellite monitoring and control ground segment software and system design
• Computer programming skills (Python is a plus)
• Excellent English language skills
