ESA Graduate Trainee in System Engineering for Future Space Transportation

The ESA Graduate Trainee in System Engineering for Future Space Transportation position involves providing valuable support on synthesising future Space Transportation System studies, identifying key trends, and preparing future dual-use space transportation roadmaps. The successful candidate will work with a large degree of autonomy and liaise with different ESA teams. They will deploy an analytical and synthetical mind and develop their skills on Space Systems Engineering and Project Management.

Requirements

• Master's in a technical or scientific discipline, with a background in aerospace engineering and a good understanding or motivation for dual-use applications
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment, both independently and as part of a team
• Experience of working within, or education related to, the security and defence domain is a plus
• Ability to work in an international environment with different stakeholders and teams
