Veterinary Assistant

The Premier Veterinary Group is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join their team in Mundelein, IL. The primary responsibility is to support and assist the veterinary medical staff, with a focus on patient and client service. The role involves basic record keeping, animal restraint and husbandry, administering oral medications, and maintaining a safe and clean workspace.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine OR completion of a veterinary assistant program
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, self-motivate, work well with others, and have a strong work ethic
• Able to handle/restrain, sometimes fractious animals, weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
