Principal Product Designer

Principal Product Designer role at Ethic, responsible for shaping product design ecosystem, leading large-scale initiatives, and mentoring other leads.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience designing and shipping complex digital products
• Proven record of shaping product vision and driving cross-functional alignment at scale
• Deep expertise in product design, interaction design, and visual design craft
• Advanced understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
• Experience with modern AI and design tools such as Figma Make to Claude Code
• Expertise in linear and non-linear systems design and information architecture
• Deep experience building or evolving design systems in collaboration with engineering
• Strong communication skills with the ability to align product leaders and executives
• Portfolio that demonstrates exceptional craft, clarity of process, and measurable impact
• Experience mentoring other designers and leading through quality and clarity
