Power Mechanic Level B

This Power Mechanic position is responsible for repairs and maintenance of diesel engines, trucks, and forklifts. This involves inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing repairs, safety inspections, and adhering to safety regulations. Operational attendance is required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• One year of experience or trade school completion
• Valid CDL and FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment
• Knowledge of heavy truck repairs
• Mechanical ability and interest in engines, electronics, and precision equipment
• Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to lift 70 lbs. and work in awkward positions
• Reliable transportation
