Job Description
Seeking a Medical Assistant Apprentice, Medical Assistant, or Licensed Practical Nurse to serve in Essentia Health's family practice at the West Duluth Clinic. The position involves assisting RN, Physician, and other providers with direct patient care in the ambulatory setting.
Requirements
- Under the guidance of a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse preceptor
- Enrolled in the In-Clinic Assistant Training Apprenticeship Program (ICATAP)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state
- Current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant
- Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program
