Job Description
Principal Investigator (Archaeologist) responsible for scheduling and managing archaeological projects, conducting research, and writing reports.
Requirements
- Conducts archaeological field work and identifies artifacts
- Collects data and field samples during archaeological investigations
- Analyzes historic and pre-historic artifacts and features
- Documents methodologies and findings of research and archaeological investigations
- Reviews and writes portions of archaeological reports
- Assists in making decisions about project alternatives and the resolution of adverse effects to archaeological resources
