The role involves providing high-quality reporting and transcription services to courts and government agencies across the UK. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Court Reporter with a strong understanding of technology and a commitment to quality and deadlines.
Requirements
- Reside in the UK
- Be legally entitled to work in the UK
- Be an experienced Court Reporter
- Have a current UK bank account to receive payment
- Have an excellent understanding of the English language, grammar, punctuation, etc
- Be confident in the use of technology and creating documents to the highest standard
- Be confident in using the Internet to research case information/references
- Be committed to producing high quality transcription and ensuring the final transcript is complete and accurate
- Ensure deadlines are met
- Be a good communicator to ensure the best possible service
- Own Stenograph machine and associated equipment
- Commitment to the highest (ISO27001) data security standards
- BIVR accreditation or other related industry certification
- Ability to produce transcripts in word format
