Job Description
Escape Velocity is seeking a skilled Lighting Artist to join their team and deliver world-class lighting for a current project. The role involves lighting game levels, UI experience, cinematics, sky boxes, post-processes, color grading, and collaborating with Tech Artists to achieve visual targets. The company emphasizes a focus on player/colleague time and autonomy.
Requirements
- Comprehensive experience working with real-time lighting techniques in the video games industry
- Minimum released 1 project with Unreal Engine
- Fundamental understanding of color and lighting theories
- Experience of lighting stylized realism project.
- Understanding of material authoring in a physically based rendering pipeline.
- Proven experience with Color Grading.
- Sound knowledge of lighting theory.
