Machine Operator - Dyersburg, TN Location

This position will use their skillset to operate machinery used in the production of Pad, Pole, or 3Phase transformers while considering the values and goals of ERMCO.

Requirements

• Communicate and understand written and verbal instructions
• Use iPad or other electronic communication devices
• Use of organizational skills and attention to detail is necessary
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in thousandths and up to 1/16th of an inch
• Demonstrate proper lifting techniques
• Grasp, reach, and handle objects, tools, and materials
• Use measuring devices such as rulers, calipers, and micrometers
• Use hand & power tools such as air ratchets, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, and grinders
• Operate overhead hoists and lift assist equipment
• Lift, push/pull 50+ lbs.
• Frequent standing and walking is necessary
• Occasional sitting, stooping, reaching, or kneeling
• 20/40 vision is required with or without the use of corrective glasses and/or contact lens, as well as normal peripheral vision no less than 70, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Must comply with all plant safety policies and procedures and any special department safety rules
• Must be able to wear all required PPE including, but not limited to: safety toed shoes, safety glasses, cut resistant gloves, and hearing protection
