Quality Automation Engineer (SDET)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM major or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of software testing experience
• Ability to create and review test automation according to specifications
• Ability to write, debug, and troubleshoot code in test-driven languages (e.g., Java, Python, or TypeScript/JavaScript)
• Basic knowledge of monitoring, logging, and tracking tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, or ELK Stack) to ensure adherence to SLOs/SLIs/SLAs
• Experience in developing automated tests for APIs/services, using tools or frameworks (e.g., Postman, Bruno, Rest-Assured, or Karate)
• Created test strategies and plans
• Led complex testing efforts or projects
• Participated in Sprint Planning as the Test Lead
• Collaborated with Product Owners, SREs, Technical Architects to define testing strategies and plans.
