Mechanical Technician

The Mechanical Technician role at Enviva is responsible for ensuring proper preventive maintenance on critical and auxiliary machinery in the pellet manufacturing process. This involves assembling, cutting, and laying pipes, performing repairs and maintenance on equipment, and analyzing equipment performance to improve reliability and quality results.

Requirements

• Assemble, cut, thread, and lay pipes
• Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repairs on motors, fans, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and other equipment
• Work with diverse machines and equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication
• Maintain reports and equipment
• Analyze equipment performance and make necessary changes
• Identify corrective action and troubleshooting
• Perform rigging of equipment and follow safety procedures
• Operate mobile equipment
• Perform housekeeping to maintain safety standards
