Control Room Operator

The Control Room Operator is responsible for monitoring the status of all plant systems, responding to alarms, and ensuring the smooth functioning of systems and equipment. The operator will also monitor activities, prepare accurate records, and maintain a range of technical and soft skills.

Requirements

• Operate plant functions from the control room
• Manage chip feed system, fuel feed system, furnace, dryer system, primary and secondary sizing and pellet presses
• Act as overall contact for plant operations
• Monitor spark detection equipment
• Adjust production line processes
• Maintain working schedules, equipment temperature, and safety standards
• Resolve issues and communicate with team members
