Job Description
Environmental Science Associates (ESA) is seeking a full-time Field Technician/Scientist for the South Florida Water Management District's Water Quality Bureau. The position involves collecting surface water samples and performing field work on water quality monitoring and restoration projects. Responsibilities include sampling, equipment maintenance, and sample analysis. ESA offers a supportive, employee-owned environment.
Requirements
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a natural science or related field.
- 0-2 years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in field sampling techniques, equipment operation, and trailering a boat (up to 23 feet).
