Job Description
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is a part-time, W-2 employee position that includes responsibilities that span across three organizations. The role is structured as a 24-hour per week position, with approximately one-third of the total weekly hours allocated to each organization. The PMHNP will provide psychiatric care, medication management, clinical oversight, and regulatory leadership in compliance with COMAR 10.21.20.
Requirements
- Active licensure with the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)
- Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMH)
- Possession of a valid DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration
- Possession of a valid CDS (Controlled Dangerous Substances) registration
