Electronics Product (Manufacturing) Engineer

We are seeking a Product Engineer with experience working in a manufacturing environment to evaluate designs for manufacturability and lead development of new products into production.

Requirements

• BS/MS in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering
• Manufacturing or related engineering experience in multi-part mechanisms and mechanical assemblies
• Knowledge of space vehicle mechanisms and systems
• CAD, 3-D modeling, assembly creation, drawings and GD&T
• Design of tooling and fixtures
• Design for Manufacturing methods and techniques
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Formal problem analysis and resolution
• Project management skills
• Working with aerospace products and processes
• Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing practices
• Enterprise/Manufacturing Resource Planning (ERP/MRP) systems
• MS Office– Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Familiar with and able to work in MS Project.
