Job Description
Enlace Chicago is seeking a Community Based Therapist (CBT) to provide trauma-engaged, culturally sensitive therapy services to individuals, adolescents, and families at high risk of gun and community violence. The role involves building relationships with community partners, facilitating case management, and ensuring continuity of care within an Enlace office or partner site. The therapist will work closely with community safety staff, participants, families, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of mental health conditions and best practices for psychological treatment
- Strong listening and interview skills to explore client needs and administer treatment plans.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective treatment plans.
- Organization skills to maintain up-to-date client files.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines.
- Demonstrate awareness and understanding of diverse cultures.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations
