Job Description
EnduroSat is a rapidly growing space scale-up specializing in advanced software-flexible satellites for commercial, governmental, and scientific endeavors. They are seeking an Embedded Linux Software Engineer to configure, customize, and build Linux distributions for embedded systems. The role involves modifying, maintaining, and integrating third-party libraries and drivers into custom Linux distributions. Daily tasks include developing software solutions for space applications and debugging software on target hardware.
Requirements
- Experience with the Yocto Project, including writing recipes, layers, and customizing images
- Experience with C for developing Linux kernel drivers
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development
- Familiarity with ARM or other embedded architectures
- Experience with debugging tools and methods for embedded systems (e.g., GDB, JTAG, oscilloscope) and Linux kernel device trees and FOSS bootloaders
- Familiarity with ARM SoC secure and unsecure boot process
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
