Job Description
This role involves clinical research nursing within a clinical trial for Oesophageal Cancer detection using the Capsule Sponge test. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you'll manage the BEST4 screening visits, facilitate recruitment and patient consent, and ensure adherence to study protocols and data accuracy. This position requires independent and collaborative work, both within the mobile unit and with a wide range of researchers and support staff.
Requirements
- Registered nurse (NMC Registration)
- Continued CPD
- Previous research experience or Upper GI experience
- Significant post-registration clinical experience
- Experience in performing nurse-led clinics
- Good understanding of clinical research
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work accurately and methodically
- Team player with independent work skills
- High level of organisational and time management skills
- Excellent IT knowledge / skills and proficient in MS Office Software
