Job Description
Empatica is seeking an Electronics Engineer to build and test hardware for their medical-grade smartwatch and biomarker development platform. The role involves prototyping, PCB layout, simulation, and collaboration with Mechanical and Firmware Engineers to drive production. This position is not fully remote and requires in-office presence, as they operate in an international environment.
Requirements
- Genuine interest, passion, and motivation for Empatica’s mission.
- M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering - or equivalent.
- Proven hands-on experience in the development of Schematics and Layout.
- Familiarity with main building-blocks used in embedded systems.
- Familiarity with lab instrumentation.
- Good lab skills (e.g. soldering, reworking, devices assembling/disassembling).
- Experience with mass-scale PCB production and assembly.
- Experience with FW development for MCUs (ARM Cortex-M preferred).
- Resilience, a get-things-done attitude, and an innate desire to do great work.
