Job Description
The Patient Access Specialist/Front Office is a part-time, walk-in/night shift position for a small-format hospital. The role focuses on verifying patient information, securing payments from guarantors, and facilitating smooth revenue cycle management. It involves customer service, record keeping, and assisting with other hospital functions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of patient registration and insurance verification experience
- Emergency Department registration experience (strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of various insurance plans
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent customer service
- Basic MS Office proficiency
