Job Description
We are seeking a Tactical Purchasing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting open PO reports, collaborating with suppliers, and implementing exception messages in SAP, Oracle, and plant ERP. You will also be responsible for leading supplier relationship management, collaborating with finance, and completing material master setup and associated activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of professional experience in Purchasing / Procurement / Supply Chain or Casting, Forging, Machining
- Knowledge in Strategic sourcing methodology, supply chain management, contracting, procurement, and supplier management skill.
- Experience working with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Excellent digital literacy and a technical proficiency that includes significant data gathering skills, expertise, interpretation, and reporting for the Supply Chain organization.
- Strong problem solving & analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and management (Advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, PowerPoint, SQL).
