Specialty Insurance Program Manager (AF Specialty)

Role develops and oversees Property and Casualty programs via a delegated underwriting authority model. Responsible for business growth, underwriting, profitability, and program relationship and performance management.

Requirements

• Ensure strong underwriting performance by managing underwriting referrals and overseeing underwriting guidelines
• Manage program performance by monitoring key metrics, creating action plans when needed, and driving improvements in challenged segments through coordination with program administrators.
• Perform annual audits of the program administrators underwriting compliance and performance and ensure audit findings are addressed.
• Manage assigned relationships with program administrators, including regular visits.
• Provide required resource and problem resolution assistance to all program functions to resolve outstanding issues.
• Review the potential for new business opportunities with programs assigned
• Monitor and update premium and profitability projections
• Negotiate commission structures with program administrators
• Coordinate and provide oversight to key vendors and stakeholders
