Construction Engineer- Construction & Transportation Design

EMCS, Inc. is seeking a civil engineer to join their growing team in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This is a dual role offering field work during the construction season and focus on transportation design for the remainder of the year. The company is a leading civil engineering firm serving public and private clients.

Requirements

• AS or BS degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Previous professional or internship experience in the civil engineering field
• DOT roadway/bridge construction inspection experience a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation/InRoads a plus
• WisDOT Highway Technician Certification Program credentials, or ability to obtain certification
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
