Senior Project Cost Estimator

Responsible for preparing and reviewing construction cost estimates, supervising and participating in the preparation of cost estimates, and negotiating agreements with architects and engineers. Conducts seminars and workshops, estimates costs of damages, and prepares budgets for school building projects.

Requirements

• 10 years full time paid professional experience in cost estimation for building construction
• Knowledge of current local construction labor and material costs
• Ability to compare independent cost estimates with contractor proposals
• Ability to develop scope of work based on RFI/RFC answers
• Good oral and written communications skills
