Principal Power System Engineer

We are designing the grid of the future! Join our innovative team shaping the grid of the future through advanced energy intelligence. As a Principal Power System Engineer, you will work closely with senior leadership to support our growth strategy and provide subject matter expertise.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in the electric energy industry, generator modelling, transmission planning and interconnection studies
• Solid background in power flow, optimal power flow, transient stability
• In-depth knowledge of at least one but preferably several of the following software packages: PSSE, TARA, PSLF, ASPEN, DSATools, PSCAD
• Knowledge of SPP and MISO footprints
• Proven ability to evaluate new utility tariffs and study methodologies
• Automation experience (Python, C#, SQL) would be looked upon favorably
• Competency in analytical problem-solving, strong communication, and technology expertise
