DevOps Team Leader

As a DevOps Team Leader, you will drive automation, reliability, and scalability across Opayo's high-volume payment platforms. This role ensures seamless delivery of applications through Development, Test, and Production environments using modern Continuous Delivery practices.

Requirements

• Maintain and support Opayo applications (Payments In/Out) using advanced monitoring tools and custom scripts.
• Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to meet stringent SLAs.
• Drive adoption of modern DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated patching.
• Set clear objectives, review progress, and manage performance.
• Recruit, mentor, and upskill engineers to build a high-performing, collaborative team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Development, Infrastructure, and Security teams to align DevOps initiatives with organisational goals.
• Champion automation and modernisation to reduce risk and accelerate delivery.
