Senior Security Engineer

Edgewater Federal Solutions seeks a Senior Security Engineer to support IT Governance, Information Security & Outreach section. The candidate will review and provide recommendations to enhance S&R IT strategic architecture and security roadmap and plans to further protect S&R information and systems.

Requirements

• Active United States Government National Security Secret clearance or higher-level clearance or a Tier 4 background investigation
• Master's degree in information security or related field
• At least 10 years' experience supporting information security strategies in large organizations
• Experience implementing security architecture strategies including Zero Trust Architecture, Data at Rest Encryption and Multi-factor Authentication
• Experience with cloud, multi-cloud, and hybrid cloud strategy, migration, and security strategies, especially GovCloud
• Experience with network security, segmentation, micro-segmentation strategy, design, and implementation
• Experience assessing risk and developing mitigation strategies
• Experience working with IT security strategies in government
• Cyber security certifications (i.e., CASP, CISA, CISM, CISSP)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
