Job Description
This position performs unsupervised field maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on renewable energy generators. The Technician 3 may lead teams on routine tasks and is expected to have knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in a renewable energy asset.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of related experience or training
- Valid current driver’s license
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components of wind turbines/ photovoltaic power and energy storage systems
- Familiar with CSA Z462 / NFPA 70E
- Ability to use a multi-meter correctly
- Basic computer knowledge
- Good verbal and written communication skills
