Welder Cat B

Welder Cat B required for the Hinkley Point C Project. Responsibilities include welding, housekeeping, and maintaining a safe work area. Must have a Level 2 Welding Apprenticeship or equivalent, 3 years of experience as a Welder, and pass the welder qualification tests. Additional requirements include knowledge of welding codes, specifications, and techniques, and the ability to work in a large-scale industrial project.

Requirements

• Level 2 Welding Apprenticeship or equivalent
• 3 years of experience as a Welder in a relevant industry
• BS EN ISO 9606 Coded Welding Qualification in the related works
• Knowledge of various welding codes, specifications, techniques, and methods
• Knowledge and experience of common welding processes such as; TIG, MMA, TIG+MMA
• Ability to pass the welder qualification tests at according to ISO 9606-1
• Ability to weld in CS in related dimensions and schedule for piping
• Ability to weld in H-L045 position for piping
• Security Clearance (BPSS)
• CCNSG Safety Passport
• Willingness to learn and achieve necessary safety or occupational training
• Proof of English Level (CEFR) B1
• Right to work in the UK
