Job Description
This Substitute Teacher position provides a nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years, fostering language, cognitive, social, and emotional development through a supportive classroom setting. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, implementing culturally sensitive activities, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. The role involves both classroom duties and communication with families.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- DCF 45-hour training
- Experience in a child care setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of child growth and development
- Ability to implement developmentally appropriate practices
- Current First Aid and Pediatric Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training
