Job Description
EControls is seeking a highly motivated Engine Calibration Engineer to work in both their extensive dynamometer lab and with customers. The role involves understanding engine operating fundamentals, calibrating new and existing engines, validating suitability for applications, and providing technical support to customers. The position offers a challenging environment focused on customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical/Electrical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- Previous exposure to engine calibration/testing/development.
- Working knowledge of PC-based presentation, spreadsheet, & word processing software.
- Basic understanding of electrical, software, & mechanical engineering disciplines.
- Basic understanding of hydraulics/pneumatics, rotational/linear mechanical dynamics, thermodynamics, electrical circuits, and compressible flow.
- Basic understanding of engine control systems and calibration techniques.
