Responsible for operating and monitoring the Distributed Control System (DCS) to ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant processes. This role requires keen attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Min. SPM/SVM/SKM or equivalent and above; Diploma/Advanced Diploma is preferred.
- Previous experience as a process operator (min. 5 years), and DCS operator (min. 2 years) in Utilities, IETS (WWT), Tankfarm and Terminal Operation in Downstream Operations (Onshore plant) Refinery/Petrochemicals/Oleochemicals
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and other process control systems.
- Knowledge of process instrumentation, control valves, pumps, and other plant equipment.
- Strong technical knowledge of utility systems, wastewater treatment processes, and environmental regulations
- Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental compliance standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
