Job Description
ECC is seeking a capable Associate Environmental Engineer to join their team based in Portsmouth, NH. This role involves consulting with project teams, selecting and applying environmental technologies, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory codes, and managing project activities. The position is primarily hands-on, with on-site presence at Pease Air Force Base.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in written or verbal formats with diplomacy and tact
- Appreciation for independent thinking and reasoning
- Strong organizational skills and team leadership
- Skilled in project objectives and reviewing work for quality
- Knowledge applying engineering standards and regulatory codes to environmental practices
- Proven experience in remediation systems or hazardous waste management
- Two years of progressively responsible experience in project engineering
- USACE Contractor Quality Management certification (preferred)
- Strong technical writing skills
- US Government contracting experience (preferred)
