The EHS Professional reviews work environments, designs policies to ensure safety, health, and environmental regulations, and communicates with clients, peers, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related subject from an accredited school
- Associates degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related subject from an accredited school and at least two or more years related experience and/or training in professional safety
- Successful completion of an accredited EHS Apprentice program
- Possession of or ability to obtain and maintain a valid Oregon driver license
- OSHA 30 in construction required or equivalent certification
- Current First Aid, CPR and AED certification preferred
- Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) or Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM)
