Support product development and operations in the machining and assembly of prototype and production devices, tools, and equipment.
Requirements
- Proficient in CNC programming
- Setup and operate a variety of CNC and conventional machining equipment
- Machine and assemble prototype components and devices
- Develop production machining processes and work flows
- Maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, procedures, work in process, test results, measurements, labor, and special projects
- Maintain equipment, tools, supplies, safety, cleanliness, and organization of the machine shop
- Collaborate with product development staff in the design and fabrication of devices and machines
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups to support commercial operations
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, hire, and retain skilled technicians and machinists
- Provides structured coaching, regular feedback, and development plans that enable team members to progressively increase their technical capability, efficiency, and overall impact on fabrication and production needs
