Testing and Verification Lead Engineer

Eaton's division is currently seeking a Testing and Verification Lead Engineer. The role involves leading testing, verification, and certification planning for component-level and system-level testing of connected home products. The engineer will also build and maintain reusable, scalable, and automated test benches and lab infrastructure to improve test cycle time and reduce product validation effort.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or a directly related field
• Five years of experience in product development of electromechanical products/systems per industry regulatory standards
• Root cause analysis and troubleshooting engineering systems
• Engineering product development experience in electro-mechanical products, IoT connected products or circuit protection products
• Working in a global business environment with remote teams to deliver the best results while leveraging very diverse experiences within the team
• Voice of the Customer (VOC) experience and Design Thinking experience with output applied to successful product developments
• CAD/SolidWorks/CREO solid modeling experience and the ability to develop 2D drawings and assembly documentation including design intent
