Test Engineer

Join Our Team as a Test Engineer! As a Test Engineer, you’ll be a vital part of Eaton’s Testing Center of Excellence team, leading the technical direction and executing tests at Eaton’s Thomas A. Edison Technical Center in Franksville, WI. You’ll collaborate closely with product development staff to guide product testing direction, support design initiatives, and ensure design robustness by adhering to required standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum of two years of engineering experience with electrical products
• Professional Engineering license is a plus
• 2 years of experience in electrical testing and/or design of medium or high voltage electrical products
• Knowledge in the application of medium voltage electrical distribution equipment
• Familiarity with dielectric testing requirements of IEEE 4 and IEC 60060-1/-2
• Experience in developing electrical test systems (AC/DC, impulse, power/short-circuit, thermal, etc.)
• Knowledge of power test equipment and measurement instrumentation
• Six-sigma trained to support measurement uncertainty assessment
• Experience working within quality management systems
